NUTRITION DETECTIVE
 
This Yale University Nutrition Detective DVD teaches our attending "detectives" how to look for clues!  They will learn how not to be fooled by the box, but how to read and understand the nutritional facts all at their age level. It's an entertaining, engaging, educational & empowering program! They will take a few"magical" trips along the way, learning the first ingredient listed is the biggest or most of what is in that food.  They will meet Fingers the Fox who will teach them how to spot out ingredients we do not want in food, learn longer ingredient lists are not good, where to look for shorter lists and from nature is best! Learn to look for real whole grains not whole grain "imposters" and much more!   Best of all they will have learned a lot about how to be healthier and happier, in a fun way! This knowledge  will have a profound impact on every part of their lives and my hope is this will ripple forward to future generations.  

This program is creative, engaging and effective.  Great fun for all ages!
Organic popcorn served (Call ahead if corn allergy--no problem. we'll find an adequate alternative!) and you're welcome to come in your pajamas.  Either way, you don't want to miss this!!!  Attendees will receive a "Nutrition Detective Badge!"

WHITE RABBITS - CHILDREN'S GROUP NATURAL HEALTH COUNSELING AND NUTRITION DETECTIVE PROGRAM!
(for ages 8-12)

I am so pleased to offer a special program for children, and just like the adult program, it's more than just learning what foods are good to eat - WAY more! (and it's fun, too!)
This is a great opportunity to help children flourish, both in and out of the classroom.  

In the "White Rabbits" Program, we'll meet every other week in your group day and time, avoiding major holidays, for a total of 6 sessions.  The additional benefits of the White Rabbits program versus the Children's Program at Tagaloo are: 
* By meeting every other week, the children have time to put into action what they've learned.  Over those couple of weeks, it then is incorporated into their life easily.  Those habits become their lifestyle.
* Hands on cooking and food preparation
* More time to explore topics, ask questions and have fun!

SUMMER NUTRITION & FITNESS CAMP

This is a power packed week of fun!
Combine the Nutrition Detective Program as well as Part One AND Part Two of the Children's programs at Tagaloo for 5 days that will make a huge impact on the life, health, and happiness of children.  

Games, activities, crafts, physical movement, delicious and healthy snacks and more are all a part of this experience that will help children flourish in mind, body and spirit.

The camp is held for 3 hours a day for 5 days (Monday to Friday)
